We offer a complete website creation service. Whether you are completely new to the idea of websites or experienced, we can provide you with a complete solution.
Domain and hosting purchase (£10 per year) *
Having your own domain is essential if you want to get noticed on the internet. If you use search engines like Google, Yahoo, Ask, Bing, etc. you will know that searching for information always results in websites who’s domain name very closely resembles your search criteria. For example, searching for “car parts” will list sites which have “carparts” in the domain name like www.ExpressCarParts.co.uk and other related names. You don’t need to be a business to have your own domain, you might want your own personal name or family name www.firstnamelastname.co.uk or www.lastnamefamily.co.uk. Bare in mind that someone may have already purchased the name you wanted so you may have to put a little thought into a name that works for you or your business (we are always ready to advise).
The charge is annual because domain names and a place to host your site are rented.

Single page website (£50)
This website comprises a single page that can display for example your business name, a description of what you do, also your products and services along with contact details. You decide what you want your page to say and provide us with one, two or three pictures you would like to use. Pictures must be your own and not copied from other sources not belonging to you. We construct your website page and only charge when you are satisfied.
3 page website (£99)
Comprises a website with three pages. The same conditions apply as for the single page site except that you can have up to three pictures on each page. The advantage of this option is that you can provide much more information. You will have room to provide such objects as a map and directions to your business or a separate price list. The choice is yours. You may have your own very specific idea of what you want to show on each page and, we are always here to offer advise. Once again we only charge when you are satisfied.
All other websites
We write sites with far greater numbers of pages and can include form sections for submitting and requesting information along with database linked dynamic content sites for businesses that for example wish to take orders on line. These requirements are evaluated on an individual basis but we will always provide value for money.
Important Note: The above costs are for writing and deploying a website and registering it with Google, Yahoo, Ask and Bing search engines ONLY. All websites we write are “Search Engine Optimised”. This means that your website will be written so that search engines like Google can record and index your site by particular keywords relevant to your line of business. We submit details to the search engines using their free submission services and we cannot guarantee any listing or where you appear in that listing.
Typically searches made with the words entered into a search engine will display lists of sites related to those words. A new website can take a few weeks to appear in search engines so don’t expect to see your new website in Google the day it goes live.
Having your website appear in the major search engines is a fairly straight forward matter. Having it appear on the first page is a wholly separate matter. High ranking in search engines is an activity in which there is much competition. The activity of ranking your website as high as possible is referred to as “Search Engine Optimisation” or SEO. SEO takes a great deal of time and effort and is a bit like advertising. The key to high ranking is to have as many links to your site from other high ranking sites as possible. This is highly sort after and companies who specialise in it charge significant amounts to get your site where you want it. Other factors that influence where you appear in search engines is whether your site is one amongst many that cover similar areas e.g. computer software. There are literally hundreds of thousands of companies that sell software but to rank highly and appear on the front page of Google is going to cost a lot of money – you’re up against Microsoft for one.
Private listings like Yell.com (Yellow Pages) or Thomson Local is a totally private issue and you have to deal with them directly.
