Getting your PC or server up and running can be time consuming and frustrating. I will set up and fully test your computer(s) so you have the time to get on with other things. I will install required software and drivers, set up your email account and make sure you can see it all working.

I will provide you with a full MOT report on the points covered so you know what has been done.

This means the PC needs more memory, a bigger hard drive, better graphics and even a TV Card. Digital media, especially video, needs large amounts of storage space. Resolve this by adding another hard drive. Video editing also needs plenty of memory, adding more improves performance straight away and if you want to record and pause live TV then a current TV card is what you’ll need.

Today’s operating systems are far more advanced than those of 5 years ago and, if your PC is of high enough specification then it would be well worth it. By examining the specification of your PC I can determine whether this is worth while and if so, which operating
system is the best for you. Installing a new OS can be a bit daunting so let me do it for you. One important thing to remember – any important files (music, movies, pictures, documents, etc.) will need to be backed up. Some operating systems can just be upgraded but, this is proven to be an unwise approach to installing a new operating system therefore your hard drive will need to be reformatted which erases all existing programs and files. This may sound extreme but as long as you still have your original programs and files on CD/DVD/solid state media then it will be plain sailing.
